General Description
Position Overview:
The Commercial Lines Account Manager plays a critical role in supporting the daily operations of the Commercial Lines Department. This position ensures smooth workflow, accurate documentation, and a consistently exceptional client experience. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail oriented, and energized by a high-volume, fast-moving environment.

Client Service & Communication:
* Serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls and client inquiries.
* Build strong client relationships through proactive, professional communication.
* Provide accurate information regarding coverage, billing, and policy details.
* Coordinate solutions and route calls appropriately when needed.

Policy Servicing & Documentation:
* Process endorsements, certificates, audits, EMODs, invoices, and other assigned tasks.
* Create and update client and prospect files; complete assigned follow ups.
* Assist with policy issuance and ensure compliance with agency and carrier standards.
* Maintain detailed documentation in EZLynx, including notes, emails, and activity logs.

Claims Support:
* Handle initial claims inquiries and guide clients through the reporting process.
* Document claim details and direct clients to appropriate carrier resources.

Billing & Financial Processing:
* Prepare and process billing for non-standard policies.
* Ensure accuracy and proper documentation of all financial transactions.

Carrier & Underwriting Coordination:
* Stay current on carrier websites, communications, and coverage updates.
* Enter applications occasionally into carrier portals to obtain quotes.
* Take new business applications occasionally from clients.
* Assist with analyzing policy renewals to determine if remarketing is needed.
* Support underwriting requirements for new and renewal business.
* Identify upsell and cross sell opportunities based on client risk profiles.

Team Collaboration & Compliance:
* Partner with the Lead Account Manager and Producer to support retention and new business.
* Maintain awareness of industry regulations and compliance standards.

Requirements:
* Active Texas Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
* 2 years or more of experience in commercial lines insurance.
* Strong understanding of Certificates of Insurance (COIs), Evidence of Insurance, and commonly used forms.
